We are so excited our favourite time of the year is here! It’s in the Bag is one of Australia’s most loved Christmas appeals where we encourage everyday Australians to put together Adult, Teen or Mum and Bub bags filled with essential items to donate to someone in need this Christmas.
Drop your It's in the Bag donation to any Bunnings nationwide from 10-26 November 2023, and your incredible donations will be distributed to over 3,000 charities nationwide by our dedicated volunteers. This Christmas let's ensure women, girls and those who menstruate, who are waking up in a domestic violence refuge or homeless shelter on Christmas feel a little bit of love and hope.

What to include

How you can help
There are so many ways you can give the gift of love and hope this Christmas with an It’s in the Bag donation.
Make a physical donation
- Find a handbag or backpack that’s brand new or in excellent used condition and fill the bag with essential items.
- Take the filled bag to any Bunnings across Australia from 10-26 November 2023.
- Feel warm and fuzzy for making someone feel special at Christmas!
Pledge a bag
Pledge to drop off an It’s in the Bag to help give a little love to someone in need this Christmas.
By pledging your bag, we will be able to see how many charities’ requests we can fill this Christmas plus you can download a tile to show your amazing commitment!
