NECA Victoria is Supporting Share the Dignity this International Women's Day
This year, NECA Victoria’s International Women’s Day event is proud to support Share the Dignity as our charity partner. Share the Dignity makes a tangible difference in the lives of women experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or facing hardship by providing free period products and working to end period poverty in Australia. For some, the lack of access to these basic necessities means having to make an impossible choice between purchasing period products or food.
Through our fundraiser, we aim to raise both funds and awareness, helping Share the Dignity provide dignity and support to women and girls in need. We are excited to unite the electrical community for IWD 2025 and hope that together, we can make a meaningful impact on this important cause.
Monetary donations can be made from now until the day of our event on Friday, 7 March. At our International Women’s Day lunch, we will also be accepting unopened packets of pads, tampons, menstrual cups, period undies, reusable pads, and incontinence aids. While bringing a donation is not required, every contribution is deeply appreciated!
