We are supporting Share the Dignity's #ItsInTheBag
This year Avenue C is supporting Share the Dignity's annual Christmas appeal It's in the Bag.
Each year these bags are donated to women and girls doing it tough. The bags are made up of so much love and care, filled with the basic essentials, period products, and so many more special gifts for people in need during Christmas time.
Please show your support by making a donation. Your donations will mean that bags can be put together and donated on our behalf. As an example:
$250 will allow us to buy 50 tubes of toothpaste
$500 will allow us to provide 100 women with sanitary products for the month
$1000 will allow us to give 45 mums a box of nappies to care for their child during this difficult time
Share the Dignity
Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia.
When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.
They assist those in need by collecting thousands of period products each year through collection drives and campaigns and distribute them directly to charities across Australia.
