I'm helping women and girls in need

I'm hosting a fundraiser to help women and girls in need across Australia. All funds raised from our event will help provide free period products to those in need and give them the dignity they deserve when dealing with their periods.

Any support you can give towards our fundraiser will go along way, making a huge, life-changing difference to the lives of many.

About Share the Dignity

Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

Hi all, its getting very exciting to know that on Saturday we will be packing those bags; writing those notes and of course sending LOVE IN ACTION  to women and girls in need this Christmas.
There should be lots of FOOD, FUN AND LAUGHTER  on the day. It has warmed my heart to know that so many of you are putting such a lot of effort into making the afternoon a success.

Ive been out doing collections at both Ashfield and Lidcombe Bunnings this week wearing my nice new pink Shirt.  Photo to come.

We have so many wonderful donations of extras and we are on target to pack at least 30 +  bags - beyond my original target of 20. A huge thank you to all who have responded to the call.

Sunday surprise

Sunday 10th Nov
A wonderful lady called Jenny and her daughter Charlotte presented me with 4 teenage bags today at church. They are not able to come to the afternoon tea but they wanted to be sure to do something. Thank you doesn't seem to be enough for your generous donation. But THANK YOU!!!

TWO WEEKS TO GO

Saturday 9th Nov
I've been having a lot of fun collecting things for the bags and for our afternoon tea.  I got my watercolours out and I've made some cards to go in the bags.
I've received some donations too from both Australia and from the USA.

I will be donning the pink shirt on Monday when I attend a lunch with Amity and accepting a cheque and donations on behalf of Share The Dignity. So excited to start my Bunnings collections too.

I'm back and its only a month away

Saturday 26th Oct
HI all,

Well having returned from the UK on Wednesday I am up and running and very excited to start planning our packing party for the 23.11.24.

During one of my sleepless ( read: jet lag moments) I found myself planning the menu for afternoon tea. I can't believe that it is only a month away.

As a Shero I have already logged my first Bunnings pick ups and also have some deliveries booked in, which our packing party will contribute to.

That somehow makes it more real.

I am hoping that as many people as possible will be able to attend and make this a fun afternoon for us but more importantly a wonderful contribution for women in need across Australia.

See you there hopefully.

And there is more.....

Thursday 5th Sep
These lovely donations have arrived via people regularly purchasing along with their regular shopping and also clearing out drawers and cupboards at home. Thank you so much to those  who have already donated so much in preparation for our packing party.

Pack a bag afternoon tea 23.11.24

Thursday 5th Sep
On Saturday November 23rd 2024 I will be hosting a pack a bag afternoon tea at my home.
Everyone is encouraged to bring something to contribute to the bag  from the essentials list or even a complete bag.
Come for fun and laughter - women supporting other women and girls in need.

Already the donations of items are beginning to fill my spare room so this is very exciting.
