QASMT students are helping women and girls in need

QASMT Students in conjunction with the parents/carers and friends of QASMT are fundraising to help women and girls in need across Australia. All funds raised from our events throughout 2024 will help provide free period products to those in need and give them the dignity they deserve when dealing with their period. 

Recognising the tangible, practical impact of supporting girls and women facing adversity, QASMT students aim to draw awareness and drive real change towards this issue. 

Please share details of the meaningful work of Share the Dignity with friends and family to raise awareness and consider donating via the many QASMT initiatives. 

About Share the Dignity

Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

QASMT Parents/Carers & Students raised $1285.66 for the 2023 Mother's Day Stall

Thursday 29th Feb
In 2023 the QASMT Parent Rep Group organised a Mother's Day stall filled with beautiful gifts for the special women in our student's lives. We potted plants, baked endlessly, created thoughtful hand made gifts and cards. With the support of our student community we raised $1285.66 to donate to Share the Dignity assisting this invaluable organisation with supporting girls and women across Australia in need. An excellent result for our first effort! We look forward to another amazing Mother's Day stall in 2024 and have set ourselves an ambitious target to raise $2500 throughout 2024. Please join in supporting this meaningful fundraiser.
