#ItsInTheBag 2023

I'm supporting Share the Dignity's #ItsInTheBag

This year a group of dancers are running workshops to support Share the Dignity's annual Christmas appeal It's in the Bag.

Each year over 140,000 bags are donated to women and girls doing it tough. The bags are made up of so much love and care, filled with the basic essentials, period products, and so many more special gifts for people in need during Christmas time.

♥ How it works:

Step 1: Choose a dance workshop you'd like to attend. There a many styles to choose from! Click on 'Get Tickets' to see workshop times and details.

Step 2: Buy a ticket ($5+ Humanitix booking fee) to secure your spot in a workshop.

Step 3: Bring a bag filled with the specified items along with you on the day (details below) to donate to Share the Dignity's Christmas drive. Please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop starts so we can collect your bag.

Step 4: Sign up for as many workshops as you like! There are many incredible dancers that are donating their time and they cover a range of dance styles. The routines taught will accomodate all dance levels. All genders welcome!

Step 5: Spread the word and bring all your friends.

Please show your support joining us. Your attendance and bag donation will make a real difference.

Share the Dignity

Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia.

When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

They assist those in need by collecting thousands of period products each year through collection drives and campaigns and distribute them directly to charities across Australia.
