Workplace Giving and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Workplace giving is a wonderful way to initiate goodwill associated with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and CSR activities in Australia. Share the Dignity is a charity is solely funded by private donations, with no government assistance. Businesses and their philanthropy mean Share the Dignity can help to end period poverty. 

Corporate accountability means organisations consider and assist in the interests of many of their stakeholders. They can fulfil their ethical and philanthropic responsibilities in Australia. Engaging with Share the Dignity is one way CSR strategies can thrive, no matter the CSR program or business model.

Regular contributions, no matter how small, allow us to continue our ongoing projects. One of our projects is installing Dignity Vending Machines so people in need can access free period products. We put these in schools, community centres, shelters, refuges, hospitals and in low socio-economic areas.

Other projects include organising the collection and distribution of donated period products as part of our Dignity Drives. We also collect handbags filled with essentials for those in need at Christmas time.

Opportunities for CSR with Share the Dignity

Share the Dignity is a charitable foundation that offers a range of options for CSR initiatives. Almost 55 per cent of the charities registered with Share the Dignity assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their communities. We help women, girls and those who menstruate, both older and young people who are doing it tough. 

We are currently working with some wonderful organisations who assist us to share dignity in a range of ways. Current organisations include Woolworths, Bunnings, Cope Sensitive Freight, Quay Australia, Muffin Break, Cygnett, Hatch and many more!
