Being a first time mum at a young age was so daunting and scary, as there were so many new things to learn and so many things to buy. Share the Dignity provided me with a nappy bag that had all the essential things that I needed to take with me to hospital. The bag made me feel prepared and excited for what is to come. I'm so grateful to have the support from such a wonderful organisation that has helped so many women with providing them with the necessary things that all women should have access to.

Your donation can make a big impact
Many of the Mums who receive our bags can barely afford the basic essentials for themselves due to escaping domestic violence, let alone the essentials for their newborn.These bags take a little bit of the pressure off so they can enjoy the first moments with their precious bub.
A Mum and Bub Bag is so expensive to put together so it’s no surprise we never get enough bags to help the women in need.We need your help to raise $100,000 so we can pack an additional 1,000 bags for new Mums in need.

How will the bags be packed and delivered?
Thanks to the generous donations from the community, and the support of our volunteers, we will be packing Mum and Bub bags filled with the essential items at our office in Brisbane. After the bags are packed, they will be delivered to some of our charity partners across Australia who will distribute the bags to Mums in need.
What goes inside a Mum and Bub Bag?
Mums will receive the below items in their bag:
- Period products suitable for mums (Maternity pads)
- Shampoo (full size preferred)
- Conditioner (full size preferred)
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Deodorant (roll-on preferred)
- Soap or body wash
- Breast pads
- Newborn nappies
- Baby Shampoo & Conditioner
- Baby soap or wash
- Disposable nappy bags
- Baby wipes
- Dummies
- Nappy rash cream
Can I donate a physical bag instead?
