From the 29th of November to the 5th of December, the Leo Club of Melbourne Next Gen will be hosting a fundraising event. The event is called Next Gen: Walk to Support. We are raising money and awareness for period poverty. Period poverty is a lack of access to menstrual products which affects millions of girls.
The organization we are raising money for is called Share the Dignity. Share the Dignity does on the ground work to make a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia.
Our collective goal is to walk 100km in support of this cause. To raise awareness, we ask you to share this event with others and post about it on your social media. Any support you can give towards our fundraiser will go along way, making a huge, life-changing difference to the lives of many!
